Call Center Employees
Someone tried to hack my business account and pay off their TJ Max credit card with my $9034.78 After spending hours on the phone and dealing with Chase Bank call centers in multiple countries outside the USA, I finally got someone who I could make progress with. Here’s the catch- you NEVER have the right to be a dick to someone getting paid bottom wages and taking the brunt of pissed off people all day. Show respect by letting them know your frustration, that they are worthy, it has absolutely nothing to do with them, and to not take it personal.
Most people in call centers are treated the poorest in regards to respect not only by their employer but by the clients and customers. When in actuality they are the most important and can create loyal customers if given the right tools.
But just remember, whether it’s the ER nurse, the call center, or someone else, be respectful. And if someone is incompetent and cannot do their job, don’t fight and belittle them and waste your energy, go straight to a supervisor. Don’t “request” to speak to one, demand politely.
