Staying Safe In Lyft & Uber

Hi fam…

This post is more specific for all the women and girls in the world.  Although yes, men too can be harassed, however the likelihood/stats are far less than those for the opposite gender.  I’ve been watching true crime at night to wind down, and have seen an incredible amount of alarming cases where women have had some kind of a safety issue when using a ride share app.

On my driving app profile, I have used my classic watermelon pic to forewarn folks that I’m not an easy target.  I recommend everyone put up a picture that is something “hard”.  I suppose the point of the picture is to help your driver identify you when they roll up, however, 9 out of 10 times, no one knows it’s even me.

With that being said, a driver will not have time to create preconceived day dreams of what they’d like to do to you, based off your looks.  One could argue that my picture might spark some asshole to “try me”, but I’ll stick with the attitude and mentality of “I’ll fuck you up if you try, and it will singlehandedly be the worse decision of your life”.

As usual, I’m running around like a chic with its head cut off, so please excuse this shortness and shitty writing.  I promise to get back into blogging as soon as I get more done with my book and getting settled.

Love you all, and stay safe everyone!
