Kortney is an Australian Womenʼs arm wrestling champion, Queensland state Brazilian Jiu jitsu champion, 3 time international bodybuilding competitor, author, TV personality, certified personal trainer and Olympic lifting and crossfit coach.

If you think youʼve seen Kortney before, itʼs probably because youʼve seen her smashing watermelons with her thighs on the Internet or TV or being described as the “woman with the world’s deadliest thighs” by Stan Lee, creator of Marvel Comics; a title she holds with pride.

Kortney is a self-appointed “teen whisperer”, often taking time from her busy schedule to speak personally to kids struggling through puberty, bullying and the challenge of growing up in todayʼs world.

Kortney isnʼt just a figurehead, she gets down and dirty where itʼs needed most.

I spent my entire life hating my body. 98% of the day I’d be self absorbed, self obsessed, and feeling totally sorry for myself. I knew it was pointless and not solving anything. I knew people around the world were suffering from REAL problems like starvation and homelessness. But I simply didn’t know how to get myself to stop giving a shit. There were days where all I could do was sit on the floor of my closet and sob my eyes out because my jeans didn’t fit and I didn’t have anything to wear.

It was akin to when I was trapped in alcohol and drug abuse. I wanted to stop, but I simply couldn’t on my own.

Now, at 38 years old, I rarely get stuck. Do I have all the immediate answers? Of course not! Am I going to promise you you’ll find self love overnight? Absolutely not! But I can tell you this: You are here for a reason. And that reason is to change the mother f*cking game.

In my experience, having physical strength has given me life beyond my wildest dreams and has been the number one contributing factor to building self confidence. I also believe that not having a purpose is the number one cause of depression. So perhaps, just maybe, your purpose is to be here, to be a leader, to learn how to not give a f*ck, and be your authentic self. The diet and fitness industry has pinned women up against a way for nearly a century, but now we have the ability to take all of our strength and pin it back.
